Did you know that researchers in Europe, the United States and China are working to develop technology that makes it possible to produce 24/7 clean electricity on Earth from solar farms floating in space? The idea is not new, but one of those who is trying to make this a reality in the not too distant future is Dr. Sanjay Vijendran, head of the SOLARIS initiative of the European Space Agency (ESA). He comes to Varmere Våtere Villere to tell us more about the project they are working on - and what importance solar energy from space can have for the energy transition on Earth.

Dr. Sanjay Vijendran, head of the SOLARIS initiative of the European Space Agency (ESA)
Moderator: Lars-Henrik Paarup Michelsen, director of the Norwegian Climate Foundation
